Septemberfest is held annually at the Governor's Mansion in Oklahoma City.
The event is billed as a fun-filled day to explore Oklahoma's rich heritage and diversity, its worlds of agriculture and farming, an array of entertainment and arts and crafts.
More than 35,000 people attended Septemberfest in 2002.
Held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, September 4, Septemberfest was at the Governor's Mansion grounds at 820 NE 23rd Street in Oklahoma City. Visitors are always asked to park at the Oklahoma State Capitol building or at the area of N.E. 23rd Street and Kelley Avenue. Tours of the Governor's Mansion are conducted throughout the day.
The Oklahoma Children's Acting Guild was invited to perform at this special event. They were on the stage from 10:45-11:15 a.m.
