HORNETS TO HOST STINGER TRY-OUTS
AUDITIONS FOR JUNIOR DANCE TEAM HELD THIS MONTH

Oklahoma City – The New Orleans/Oklahoma City Hornets will host auditions for the 2006-07 Stingers Junior Hip-Hop Dance Team on Saturday, August 19, 2006 at the Cox Convention Center. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. and the audition is open to boys and girls between the ages of 8 and 14, who are energetic, have dance experience and are interested in performing at Hornets home games.

Candidates should arrive in appropriate dance attire, which includes dancewear or comfortable clothing and athletic shoes. At registration applicants must provide a completed registration form, proof of age and recent photo. Pre-registration is strongly encouraged and available at hornets.com. Parking will be open in the Cox Center parking lot for $6.

The Stingers dance team consists of approximately 20 enthusiastic dancers who entertain Hornets fans with their dancing and tumbling ability and engaging personalities. The team will perform at various games throughout the 2006-07 season.
