Dolly's costumes are very beautiful and rather extravagant but that extravagance comes with a price. Dolly's costumes are heavy, and very difficult in quick change situations. I didn't see anyone helping Randi or Tia do their changes... JMO

I would have voted for Randi's (especially that red dress with that hat and those curls - ooh) if it hadn't been for the Sally sweat and makeup on the neckline of two of the Krislyn dresses. Mmmm...Sally sweat....

A quick change is the back bone of the theatre world!!! There are very few things that get your blood pumping faster than working a quick change while opening a curtain, kicking a table out on stage and flipping lights for the next scene all at the same time.

In Oklahoma!, Lindsey Phelps managed to rip the entire zipper out of her saloon girl costume 2 minutes before she was supposed to be on stage. Regina and I each safety pinned Lindsey's costume to her bra with one hand. While doing this, my other hand was changing out all of the different lights for the dream. Regina managed to extend the arm that was connected to her other hand (making it about seven feet long) and changed out the curtain. Exciting times!!

8-)

I too voted for Krislyn. Sally sweat and makeup. Mmmm...Sally sweat....

"It's supposed to be hard. If it wasn't hard, everyone would do it. The hard, is what makes it great." - A League Of Their Own.

The natural condition of the theatre business is one of insurmountable obstacles on the road to imminent disaster. However, as strange and unbelievable as it sounds, it always turns out well. No one knows why this is. It’s a mystery.
