After rehearsal today I realized that It Only Takes A Moment wasn't going to be exactly the way I thought it was going to be at practice.
Anyway, here it is:
Cornelius sings It Only Takes A Moment."
Then we go to his monologue:
Cornelius
Isn't the world a wonderful place......I'll be a ditch digger who once had a wonderful day.
Buttercup
Excuse me a moment Mr. Hackl, I missed a few words back there.
Cornelius
How many words?
Lenora
Right after (sings) It only, takes a moment.....
All
(Joining in singing) But his (my) arms felt safe and strong. It only takes a moment to be loved a whole life long.
Cornelius
And that is all that love's about.
Irene
And we'll recall when time runs out.
Cornelius and Irene
That it only took a moment to be loved a whole life long!
Please notice that I don't have everyone singing at the end. The music goes too slow for everyone to sing it. It's going to be hard enough for just Ross and Tia.
