Hello, Dolly! rehearsal on Tuesday 1-17-06 and Thursday 1-19

Hi all.

We did well this weekend. Hello, Dolly! is going to be so good!!! Hands off to all the parents who came up and killed themselves. We are farther along with the sets for this show earlier then we have been for any show in the history of OCAG, including Li'l Abner.

Oh, I'm not going to point fingers here but one thing that wasn't all that wonderful was listening to cast members read their scripts like they had never seen their lines before. Now that we have scripts, can you guys please start reading them and familiarizing yourselves with them? Some of you don't have scripts. Those people I understand the problems. Those who have scripts should have no problems with at least sounding like you've read your lines once or twice.

Anyway, moving on....rehearsal Tuesday 1-17-06 is for Krislyn and all the boys of the cast. We're going to learn how to sing Hello Dolly. Won't that be fun?

Thursday 1-19-06 is rehearsal for everyone. Both rehearsals are scheduled for 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at Regina's.

Ta ta for now.

GO AND READ THROUGH YOUR SCRIPTS!!!!

The natural condition of the theatre business is one of insurmountable obstacles on the road to imminent disaster. However, as strange and unbelievable as it sounds, it always turns out well. No one knows why this is. It’s a mystery.
