Community Threatre planning performance of Barbecuing Hamlet

Chickasha Community Theatre would like to invite the public to attend its upcoming performance of Barbecuing Hamlet.
This hilarious comedy was written by Pat Cook, a name audiences may recognize from past CCT productions of Much Ado About Murder and You Have the Right to Remain Dead.
Barbecuing Hamlet follows Margo Daley, played by Gretchen Kuhlman, as she directs Hamlet for the Peaceful Glen Memorial Players. Her job is made very difficult by the well-meaning, but clueless, Fine Arts Council. The council consists of Vicki Simpson, Kenan Caldwell, Jane Bennett and Tiffany Bolfer.
Unfortunately for Margo, only four people audition for the play so even the pizza delivery boy is wrangled onto the stage. Paige Simpson, Shana Cannon, Eddie Moore, Tiffany Quillin and Travis Brauer make up the cast for Hamlet.
The cast of Barbecuing Hamlet is rounded out by Henry Heine as Margo’s fiance and David Hughes as the theater’s handyman. Bill Ohl makes a cameo appearance as Harlen Dortmunger, the local fertilizer salesman and theater critic.
Barbecuing Hamlet is directed by Tiffany Crow and Frances Reding, with Richard Crow as stage manager. Tommy Bolfer and Jared Gillenwater are assisting on the stage crew.
Performances will be Thursday, Nov. 3, through Saturday, Nov. 5, at Trinity Church. All performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for youth under 18. Advance tickets are available at Jay’s Jewelry. Tickets will also be available at the door.
