TOOL TIME

Postby mickster on Wed Sep 21, 2005 6:58 am

We will at the appropriate time will be needing parent volunteers in the area of Set Construction. Those parents with minimal hand tool and power tool experience will need to dust off your tools and grab your safety glasses and apron to begin construction. We will be needing skill saws, drills, screw guns, glue guns, and other masculine accessories.
Grunt, grunt...
Can I get some volunteers???

Just tell him for me that blood stains costumes and if someone chops, burns, cuts, or punctures one of their appendages off of their body, OCAG does not have insurance!! But you're good with thread Rhonda. You could probably just sew anything back on to them. Think Civil War area.

Ooooh, that's it. We'll do Gone With the Wind next. That kind of has a male lead. That way if anyone cuts a leg or something off of themselves they can be chorus in our next show!!

:)

Tony, you'll be too busy learning lines and song lyrics. We'll save you a nail to drive... About kissing Dolly, I'm not real sure on that one so I'll defer to the Artistic Director...

Hey, I don't mind any help that I can get but keep in mind, Marissa may have other work for you to do such as, learning your lines impecibly and working on all the song.. It's ultimately up to her.

First of all, I think it was Regina who made this rule:

No monkeys are allowed to paint.

Monkeys are anyone who is not yet 21.

I will make this rule be no monkeys are allowed to paint or do any kind of set construction UNLESS we open in less that 48 hours and many things are needed to be done.

Second of all......Tony......you MIGHT get lucky enough to kiss Dolly. I think you might want to re think your question making it "will I get the wonderful joy of getting to kiss Dolly." I'm sure Krislyn's next question is "do I have to kiss Horace."

Guess we'll just have to wait and see what kind of a mood I'm in when we get to that scene. Maybe I'll re write it so Horace says "kiss me Dolly" and Dolly screams in terror and runs back to New York City. What do you think about that Tony? :-)

Talk toya lata.
