Calling all craftsmen

Calling all craftsmen

Postby mickster on Wed Sep 21, 2005 6:51 am

I'm certain that Marissa has some grandios plan for set construction for the upcoming production and we'll be needing some craftsmen to accomplish those tedious tasks. Jim Hill, dad of Chris Hill, usually takes care of the sound system, but is also a talented craftsman. Ben Garvie is a solid individual when it comes to building stage sets. I really don't like to give it up to myself so I won't. We have, in past productions, had great parent participation in the areas of cosumes, set construction, painting, concession, and audio. I wouldn't expect any less for Hello Dolly.
Thank you for your attention...

I'll give it up to ya Mickster. You are the most Wonderful and Great when it comes to building sets. One day people will sing songs about you and your sets. I think I'll start writing a song about you and your sets right now!!

Ode to Mickster, your sets so nice. If we had the money, you'd build them twice. If Mickster ever said "I will not build," that would be the end of the OCA Guild.

Wow....I'm great too!!!!

:D

The natural condition of the theatre business is one of insurmountable obstacles on the road to imminent disaster. However, as strange and unbelievable as it sounds, it always turns out well. No one knows why this is. It’s a mystery.

No. You're still special Regina.

That poem took me about 15 minutes to come up with. Plus I stole the whole rhyming twice with nice from you!!!

Ode to Marissa:

Here is an ode to Marissa Pace
If you don't act right she'll get in your face
All and all what I like about her
Is that when the pot is boiling she'll be there to stir!!!

BTW that only took about 2 minutes!!!

Ode to Regina

Regina Garvie is a special person indeed
All she needs to work is a mouse and a computer screen
She know what it takes to stay away from the blues
Just ask Marissa & Ben, she's paid all her dues

How about that? It took about 4 minutes...

I probably would have liked an ode to my incredible beauty. However, that one was pretty good. :-)
